Fellows Lake is a water supply reservoir owned by Springfield City Utilities. It was created in 1955 by impounding a portion of the Little Sac River. In 1991, a Community Assistance Program (CAP) agreement was signed with MDC to manage the fishery and provide further fishing opportunities to Missouri citizens. Waterfowl hunting opportunities are available at designated locations on the south arm of Fellows Lake. Hunting is open from 4:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. with gates closing promptly at 2:30 p.m. Shooting hours are 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1:00 p.m. For more details please contact the Southwest Regional Office, 417-895-6880.

The Fellows Lake Store (operated by the Watershed Committee of the Ozarks) can be reached at 417-840-2965.
